The NC Coalition on Aging Annual Meeting and Luncheon is a celebration of the support that the Coalition’s membership provides to older adults in North Carolina. It brings together leaders from all aging industries to enjoy a keynote speaker highlighting aging issues, a reflection on the past year and a discussion about the future.

This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Tracey Gendron. Dr. Gendron serves as Chair for the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Gerontology, as Director for the Virginia Center on Aging and is the author of the bestselling book Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It. With over 25 years of experience as a grant funded researcher and nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Gendron is dedicated to raising awareness and ending ageism through education. She has a Master’s degree in Gerontology, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology.
