2026 NC Coalition on Aging Annual Meeting and Luncheon
The NC Coalition on Aging’s Annual Meeting and Luncheon is a gathering of Coalition members and those with an interest in aging. It is a celebration of the collaborative focus of the Coalition’s work. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to connect and share with other attendees, learn more about what the Coalition has been up to since the last annual meeting, and hear from a national leader in aging. The meeting also provides the opportunity to present the Pioneer Award to recognize an individual who has made long-time outstanding contributions to the field of aging in our state.
Join us on Friday, September 25, 2026. Registration and networking begins at 11:00 a.m. The luncheon and program will be from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Keynote Speaker
Leanne Clark-Shirley, PhD, President and CEO of American Society on Aging
"Aging At A Crossroads – What Comes Next?"
Dr. Clark-Shirley is a social gerontologist with nearly 20 years of experience working in aging-related nonprofit, consulting and academic environments. She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America.
The Keynote Address is sponsored by United Healthcare, a Coalition on Aging Premium Partner.
Closed-Captioning & American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be provided for this meeting.
The lunch will include a soup, salad and potato bar buffet offering two protein choices.
